How do i tell my parents about my tattoo? (kind of went behind back)?
I got a cross on my back about two weeks ago. im not real religious, but it does mean something to me (maybe when my grandparents die I’ll put their initials in it) idk. but how do i tell my parents i have one, because they’re kind of against them. but my sister got one when she was 16 and my mom wouldn’t sign for me. im 16 my friends dad owns a tattoo shop and he did it without a signature. I am more worried about my dad finding out than my mom, because my mom is more lenient. But i did kind of go behind there backs and get it after they told me no. but i really wanted it so i got it. i have hid it without problems so far, but i can’t hind it until im 18. So how do i approach them and tell them? My parents are divorced by the way.
I wouldn’t tell them, to be honest with you.
They could sue your friends dad for tattooing you without their permission.
Could cause tension between your two families.
If you have to, just tell them that you were irresponsible and that it’s your body. You’ll be dealing with it the rest of your life. They can’t get it erased off you, but they could sue your friends dad.
